Students were selected for the second round of judging from over 1300 applications for the Next Fashion Designer of Tokyo, which will be held for the first time this year.

    • I haven't seen any other work that takes this idea to a level that makes me think "amazing," so I'm excited to see it in action.
    • There are probably lots of unnecessary neckties lying around in Japan, so I hope they can actually be put to good use.

    • The concept of transformable clothing is a clever approach that will attract a wide range of personalities.I hope that the design can be updated so that the segment rearrangement can create new value.
